This week’s playlist is inspired by the work of Technotronic, a dance music group formed in Belgium in 1988.
They achieved international fame between 1989 and the early 90’s due to several successful songs both in Europe and in the United States.
After the publication of the eponymous single Technotronic (released in 1988 under the name The Pro 24s), the band achieved international fame in 1989 thanks to the song Pump Up the Jam, a version transformed into a song of the instrumental piece Technotronic
Currently made up of Jo Bogaert, Manuela Kamosi and Eric Martin, the group has in the past included numerous other artists.
